HOGENAKKAL WATERFALL

 




Hogenakkal Waterfalls exhibit a view that never fails to leave one stunned. The name Hogenakkal means ‘smoking rocks’. The waterfalls were given this name because as the falls gushes 66 feet down, the clear water hits the rocky cliffs underneath and forms a view that appears as if it was emitting smoke. The peculiar formation of these waterfalls is what impresses the spectators the most. It is definitely one of the most therapeutic and stunning views one can witness. You can also take a boat ride in the waters of the falls.
